About the Author
I stopped growing up around age thirteen. My body kept going, but my brain said, “Nah, I’m good.” Some people call that a problem (go figure). But it does help me write funny adventure stories for young readers.
The Lords of Dimensions started out as a weekly phone tale for my nephew. Then I turned it into a book series for my son years ago. He read it, laughed a lot, and way too often forgot to breathe. I acted cool about it, but inside, I was doing a victory dance.
My goal was simple—write something fast, funny, and filled with characters kids could relate to. Since then, readers of all ages have compared the series to Percy Jackson, The Heroes of Olympus, Marvel, Star Wars, and The Lord of the Rings. Honestly, I’m not sure how to top that.
Over time, Alex, Lin, Whiz, and Cleo have become like family to me. I hope they find a place in your heart too—and that you’ll enjoy their adventures as much as I’ve loved creating them.
